You Had Me At Salted Caramel is velvety, indulgent, and just a bit wicked—like dessert dressed up for a night out. A little showy, and a lot delicious.

Ingredients

• .75 oz bourbon
• 1.5 oz coffee liqueur
• .75 oz caramel simple syrup*
• .5 oz half and half

Method

Combine 70% sugar and 30% salt on a plate; wet half the rim of a rocks glass and dip into the blend, set aside. Add all ingredients to a shaker with ice, shake well, and strain into the prepared glass over new ice..

*caramel simple syrup: heat 1 cup sugar with 1/4 cup water until it turns deep amber; slowly add an additional 3/4 cup water (it’ll bubble!), stir until smooth, then cool and refrigerate.
