17 December 2023— Mammoth Distilling is starting an orchard with 200 “Michigan State kiwi” plants, a hardy variety suitable for cooler climates, to produce kiwi liqueur and kiwi-infused vodka in two years.
3 November 2023— Mammoth Distilling is conducting a trial with different yeast strains in small-scale fermentations of Rosen Rye to select the best one for enhancing its flavor, an important step before actual whiskey distillation.
